Watch and record 1-Seg TV easily |
This expresscard product works well in my MacBook Pro. Here are the highlights:
- reception is good.
- the software is in English, in addition to Japanese.
- recording TV programmes is simple.
- though the EPG is in Japanese, it's still helpful.
- timed recording works well.
- the package comes with a number of antennae: a small antenna for the expresscard, a magnetized stand antenna, and attachments for your building antenna.
One bad point is that the video recordings cannot be exported. The recordings are made in an unfamiliar proprietary file format. However, there are work-arounds if you make the effort.
